Doze Hostel - Chiang Mai

The hostel had a market right at the doorstep, making it convenient for shopping. the location was within walking distance to the market and had a good price. the beds were comfortable and had curtains for privacy. the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Soap and shampoo were provided, and there was air conditioning.

Felt happy, no complaints at all.

The value for money at this hostel was amazing. The staff were lovely and very helpful with recommendations. The shared bathroom was always clean and never crowded. The location was great, with easy access to the inner city and a 7/11 nearby. The coffee shop downstairs was a nice touch. Laundry services were available at a cheap price.

The social space was limited and it felt a bit unclean. The pillows were not very comfortable.

We loved the affordable price of 441 Bahts for a double room with a balcony, especially as genius members. the facilities were good and the wifi worked well. the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the balcony offered a great view. the location was fantastic, with a morning bazaar, local restaurants, public transport, and popular attractions nearby. We also appreciated the convenience of having a 7-11 just a 3-minute walk away, as well as food stalls that opened at night. the staff were excellent communicators and always wore a smile.

The staff at the hostel were incredible! Not only were they friendly and helpful, but they went out of their way to make sure I had all the information I needed for my business trip. The location was perfect, right near the main attractions and within walking distance of the market. The clean and comfortable rooms were an added bonus.

Although the rooms were great, I did find it inconvenient that there was no shared area to relax in. I also noticed that the air conditioning turned off during the day, which could be uncomfortable during the hot weather.

As vegetarians and vegans, we were delighted to find a wide variety of plant-based options at Doze Hostel. the kitchen offered delicious vegetarian and vegan meals that catered to our dietary needs, making our stay even more enjoyable. the hostel provided informative workshops on plant-based cooking, giving us the opportunity to learn new recipes.

Felt like part of the family, couldn't ask for more.

The lack of parking available, which made it difficult for those traveling with a vehicle. Another negative was that there was no sink in the bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient for basic hygiene needs.

the hostel's location is perfect, just a short walk away from the old city and only 10 minutes from the Sunday market. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We also appreciated the affordable washing machine facilities, which saved us money. the hostel was quiet and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. We enjoyed spending time in the reception area and on the rooftop, sipping coffee and relaxing. Doze is definitely one of the top hostels we've stayed at during our Asia tour, and we're grateful for the second home we found in Chiang Mai. Cons: Nothing - it was a perfect stay! 👌.
